Selected photos Taken at Death Valley National Park & China Ranch
February 13, 2005

Due to substantial rains this season, desert wildflowers should be spectacular this year!
Some say the best in more than 50 years. This is but a taste shot quickly while on my way back from a
wilderness meeting. (The last few photos were taken on a hike the same day from China Ranch Date Farm (which I would very much recommend) down to the Amargosa river. Not only was the river high enough to kayak, it was running into it's terminus lake!
